El pasado jueves 18 de julio se realizó un foro sobre la inteligencia artificial, organizado por CAVEDATOS, en el que tres expecialistas presentaron sus diferentes enfoques sobre esta tendencia tecnológica. En el evento Inteligencia Artificial & Inteligencia Relacional: ¿Cómo Potenciar el Talento Humano? participaron como ponentes Magdalena de Luca, CEO de Sybven; María Victoria Díaz, CEO del Laboratorio de Innovación Digital y Gabriela Schauman, fundadora de Type Factor.
En la introducción al evento, la presidente de CAVEDATOS, Anna de Luca, seññaló que el mismo «marca el comienzo de una serie de actividades y programas que CAVEDATOS llevará a cabo para continuar promoviendo la innovación y el desarrollo tecnológico en Venezuela».

Anna de Luca enfatizó que esa organización «está comprometida con la creación de un entorno propicio para el crecimiento del talento humano, asegurando que la tecnología se utilice para mejorar la calidad de vida y fomentar un desarrollo sostenible y ético».
Máquinas que aprenden
Por su parte, María Victoria Díaz afirmó que no hay una sola inteligencia artificial, sino que existen varias inteligencias artificiales especializadas en diversos dominios. Hay por ejemplo inteligencias artificiales con las que se inetractúa a través de texto, como el caso de ChatGPT, mientras que otras son usadas para generar imágenes a partir de un texto descriptivo.
María Victoria Díaz explicó las características de la Inteligencia Artificial.
En su intervención, Díaz abordó la inteligencia artificial, el denominado Machine Learning o aprendizaje por parte de las máquinas, y el aprendizaje profundo, como tres tipos de sistemas de IA, del más grande al más pequeño, donde cada uno de ellos comprende al siguiente. El aprendizaje profundo es un subconjunto del Machine Learning, mientras que las redes neuronales constituyen la base de los algoritmos de aprendizaje profundo.
Magdalena De Luca, por su parte afirmó que la gran cantidad de herramientas de inteligencia artificial que hay disponibles en la actualidad representan un reto para las empresas. Primero, la escogencia de la más adecuada para una empresa específica no es una tarea sencilla, mientras que hay una enorme capacidad en dichas herramientas que no es aprovechada por completo.

De Luca se refirió, como ejemplo, a las capacidades de Chat GPT 3.5, una versión que ya ha sido superada ampliamente por la actual, la 4o. El corpus de conocimiento de esa versión requeriría un período de entrenamiento de 355 años, usando la nube de GPU más barata del mercado, mientras que su modelo maneja 175.000 millones de parámetros, donde un parámetro es la conexión entre dos nodos
La fundadora de Type Factor, Gabriela Schauman, se refirió a la combinación de la inteligencia artificial con la inteligencia relacional a la cual define como «la capacidad de establecer relaciones sólidas y de confianza, a pesar de nuestras diferencias, donde prevalezca la buena fe, para alcanzar objetivos».
